Utility film, instruction film, training film - these are all terms for a relatively new methodology for technical documentations.A utility film depicts a text neutral interactive instruction film that consists of single, interlinked video clips.
You can also refer to them as digital videos with dynamic hyperlinks (the so called hypervideos). In these hypervideos, details from the video film can be linked to additional information. The user can select and view links in the movie and call up additional texts, more videos or pictures and illustrations.
